Getting visitors visa to Australia has become faster and more secure for tourists from Brazil and Argentina who can now apply online for visa to Australia.
Applicants from Brazil and Argentina now have the ability to check the progress of their application electronically, says a spokesman for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
“A notification is sent to the client at the time of decision, providing details of the visa, and airlines are able to confirm the visa entitlements through the Advance Passenger Processing system.â€
The visa does not require a visa label to be placed in a passport but clients can, if they wish, print a copy of their visa approval notification email to carry with them while traveling to Australia.
Citizens of Brazil or Argentina who are unable to lodge an online application online can continue to submit their tourist visa application directly with the Australian Embassy in Brasilia (Brazil) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
